Go for sensory consistency

Does your product, shelf display, shop or restaurant meet all the right sensory characteristics? Have your product assessed by a sensory expert and receive an analysis of, among other things, the smell, colour, shape, material, size, weight, interaction, sound, photography and taste. For this we use the Sensory Coherence Scan (SCS). This scan provides insight into the coherence of the sensory properties of your product. Which means:

  • Are sensory aspects such as shape, colour, material, sound, smell and taste of the packaging and the content of your product attuned to each other, so that they jointly ensure a coherent product presentation?
  • What efforts can increase the Sensory Coherence of your product and thus improve marketing communication?

Insight into the relationship between the various product properties makes it possible to consciously choose certain combinations of sensory stimuli such as colour, shape, material, sound, smell and taste. The SCPS consists of four modules: the Pop scan, the In-use test, a Panel Session and a survey into the shopping experience. The Pop scan mainly focuses on the expectations of your product, the In Use Test examines whether those expectations correspond with the actual experience of your product, the Panel Session compares the actual product experience with the ideal product experience and in the In the shopping experience, the suitability between product and environment is central. Together, the modules give a good picture of Sensory Coherence of your product and concrete tools to improve the product where necessary. However, you can also choose to purchase a number of individual modules of your choice.
